4. CERTIFICATION EXAMS - Once you are ready to take your exams you can register through http://www.vue.com/cisco/. You will need to take 642-901 BSCI - Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (90 minutes), 642-642 - QoS Quality of Service Exam (90 minutes, with 45-55 questions), 642-661 BGP - Configuring BGP on Cisco Routers Exam (90 minutes, with 50-60 questions), and 642-611 MPLS - Implementing Cisco MPLS Exam (90 minutes, with 55-65 questions). NOTE: 642-892 Composite can be substituted for 642-901 BSCI AND/OR 642-691 BGP + MPLS can be substituted for 642-661 BGP and 642-611 MPLS.
5. RECERTIFICATION - CCIP certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642-XXX exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after 01/01/06, or pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam.
